To be a Leader or Manager?

Hello Dear Folks!!

Once again I welcome you all to another engrossing subject, most widely discussed but very scarcely absorbed, "To be a Leader or Manager.?"

Everyone, working or not, can relate to this post because, as you learn more about the topic, you'll be able to decide whether to be a manager or a leader in your personal life as well.

The article does not compare management and leadership. As you read more deeply in the post, you'll see how both are crucial to any ecosystem, company, or society.

Peter Drucker quoted, "Management is doing things right, leadership is doing right things."

To do things right or to do the right things are both necessities for any business or home. A perfect and agile team/family should have an even number of leaders and managers.

In general, a manager at home or business is in charge of organizing, upgrading, and managing resources, people, or data within their respective spheres. Anything that a manager oversees needs to be adaptable to changing circumstances and agile.

A leader inspires others through personal example and expertise, exemplifying better ways to manage resources, information, or people. However, a leader who is in charge of anything should also be aware of the effects of changing a long-established procedure. Inspiration and motivation are crucial components of effective leadership.

Quality Classes:

A Leader - Even though a leader may have extensive experience, their methods or traditions may not be exact. Leaders emphasize setting trends and encourage or persuade followers to be creative. For example, I teach my child good habits by doing/demonstrating it myself. A leader leads by example.

A Manager - A manager is an expert in the art of methods and traditions. Managers use resources or data in a disciplined and systematic manner. For example, I teach my child good habits by explaining the need and how elders and others in their environment practice good habits. A Manager sets good system for examples.

But The Risks:

A Leader - If a leader is unaware of the effects of deviating from the established rules, they could pose a threat. They must be conscious of what they exhibit.

A Manager-  If a manager doesn't innovate in using effectively or adjusting to needs, they could pose a threat. They need to be aware of the relevance and potential risks of what is being carried forward.

Both of the characters are crucial and applicable to any modern setting. Being a leader with excellent managing skills is increasingly necessary in social settings, and an excellent manager in a business setting is expected to demonstrate leadership skills. The core of the philosophy is to be a leading manager or managing leader, which, of course, if contributed by the best set of human ethics than it results in an excellent role model for today's demanding world.

Express your views on leadership and management in any set up,not just business. Whenever we have large volume of people gathering under one roof, a manager or leader is always required. Comment your thoughts below.

Good Bye..Take Care!! ✌❤
