Sustainability & Me - What I Can do?? - Second Posting

Dear Friends!

With the humble responses on my former post, gratitude and much speculation, I come back to the subject as promised.

I would like to bring some more spot light on Sustainability & its purpose, for you all to experience more. Before we begin, I assure everyone will have a potential take away.

In order to develop benevolent, sustainable and carbon neutral lifestyle there are many facets, but it is difficult to achieve them altogether overnight. If the World is burning and also flooding at the same time, with hooting of climate emergencies, my morale poses a question to me: What I can do?

I found some answers and every person will feel related with it. Initially it might be tough to sacrifice the lavish habits and adapt to simpler things but recall, who you are doing this for? Not for us, our children.

The Global goal of United Nations(UN) is to protect earth from the man made damage. UN has assigned 17 Sustainable development goals to be fulfilled by all Nations and Businesses worldwide. Our beloved PM Shri Narendra Modiji has committed to these goals. Let us support and align with him for higher goal to save earth.

17 Sustainable Development Goals are divided to protect the Environment, Social & Economic development. These goals cover areas like sustainable economic growth, no poverty, zero hunger, gender equality, diversity & inclusion, clean water and sanitation, affordable clean energy and responsible consumption & production mainly.

I personally believe we all can contribute to these goals, whatever possible bit in our capacity, if not something big than at least something trivial?? But suppose that if half the world population pledges to contribute even something smaller, than the accumulated volume of all these contributions would surpass the results of initiatives taken by Government & Individual Businesses by large.

If I am using resources from the Environment and Society, it should be my morale,  that I should be returning it back to nature in one form or the other.  If we have  evolved morally than we would definitely choose for sustainable lifestyle. It is everyone's noble responsibility to give it back to Panch Mahabhoot or at least maintain the level and not cause further damage.

The content of this subject are very vast to learn. Learning of smaller portions at a time will avoid fatigue in learning. I appreciate the feedback & responses by everyone and am thankful for maintaining the momentum and catching back on to my post.

In my next post I will detail the personal goals that we can adopt and pledge to make a difference  together. I want all of you to at least have some small thinking on the subject. We can make huge differences together.

Peter Drucker once said, "The best way to predict future is to create it." Let us promise a beautiful life for Our children!!
